Chris turns around and is startled to find this definitely is not her cabin. This cabin is much larger. There is a sofa and a small table with two chairs off to the side of the bed. Sitting at the table is a man with a smile on his face. Chris looks at the man and dives back into bed, covering herself up to her neck.
“I hope your headache is better,” the man says softly.
“Who the hell are you, and where am I?” Chris demands to know.
“We’ll talk about that shortly. I’m sure you probably need to move to the bathroom by now. You’ll find a toothbrush and toothpaste in there. You can shower later. You must leave the door open, but I’ll allow you privacy.” Then the man stands and moves to an open doorway. “I’m serious about leaving the door open,” he says as he walks through the doorway.
Chris hurries out of bed and into the bathroom, peeking through the open doorway as she goes. She sees the man standing by a coffee pot, pouring a cup of coffee. Chris continues into the bathroom and pulls the door halfway closed so she can pee in private. After washing her hands, Chris brushes her teeth, washes her face, and looks for a towel to wrap around her. Unfortunately, the only towel in the bathroom is the hand towel she just used. Chris stands there confused for a minute, wondering what she can cover herself with.
“You might as well come out,” the man says. “I undressed you, so I already know what you look like naked.” Angry and scared, Chris stomps out of the bathroom. The man is sitting at the table with a cup of coffee and her favorite diet soda. “Please, come and sit down. we can talk then.”
